Keeping Your Email & Account Secure
Updated October 7, 2026
Betmode has no passwords — a magic link to your email signs you in. That's more secure than a reused password, but it makes one thing true: whoever controls your inbox controls your account.
Lock down the inbox
- Use a strong, unique password on your email account — not one you use anywhere else.
- Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) on your email. This is the single biggest upgrade you can make.
- Never forward or share a magic-link email. A link is a key: anyone who has it is you.
Day-to-day habits
- Log out on shared or public devices.
- Type betmode.io yourself or use a bookmark — don't follow login links from DMs or ads.
- Betmode will never ask you for a login link or seed phrase. Anyone who does is phishing.
