Wallet Security Best Practices

Your wallet is your bank now. Betmode secures its side of every transaction — these habits secure yours.

The non-negotiables

• Your seed phrase never leaves your head or your safe. Not to support, not to 'validators', not to anyone. Written on paper beats stored in a screenshot.
• Verify addresses before sending — first and last characters, every time. Clipboard malware exists.
• Test with a small amount before any large transfer.

Good hygiene

• Keep a separate hot wallet for playing funds, apart from your long-term holdings.
• Review token approvals periodically and revoke ones you don't recognise.
• Beware of fake airdrops and dust tokens — don't interact with tokens you didn't expect.
• For serious sums, use a hardware wallet.
